The first person you need to recruit for your company is yourself. You need to identify all of the ways that you are the right person and the wrong person for the job. Where are your weaknesses, insecurities, and blind spots? What are the things that drive you to keep improving? What are the differences that you bring to the table and the expertise that gives you an edge? When you start to apply critical thinking to your own involvement and capacity you can create a better path forward than you would otherwise.
